The Data Store is a small, privately-owned computer retailer in Bromley, Kent. We were founded in 1983, and began selling Sinclair, Acorn, Oric, Dragon and Atari computers. After about a year, we decided to specialise in Acorn (BBC Micro) systems, and sold no other type of computer until the mid 1990s, when we started selling Centrex PCs, which now account for about 50% of our business.
We are reluctant advertisers, and accredit our success over 16 years trading to word-of-mouth recommendations. We are proud of our reputation for fair dealing, unambiguous advice and quality service. If you value these things more than getting the very cheapest price, why not give us a call or make a visit to our well-equipped showroom. You may even find our prices lower than you expect (although you could always scan through our price lists on this web site for an idea!).
